Q. What’s your full name and where are you from?
A. “ My name is Antwan Dwayne Richardson, I was Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri and moved to Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 12.”
Q. What do you do for a living?
A. “ I am the owner of True Definition Inspection Services, where I am a state licensed home and mold inspector for the state of Florida. ”
Q. When did you know that you wanted to turn your gift into a career?
A. “ In September 2012 after moving to South Florida, with my daughter and her mother as she was expecting our son, I realized I wanted to turn my gift into a career after shadowing her father for over a month. I had the opportunity to see my kids grandfather make over 30K in one month and the lifestyle he was able to provide for himself and his family. ”
Q. Who are some of your biggest influences in your industry?
A. “ My biggest influence in my industry is Jay Taylor with JT Property Inspections and Environmental services who has been in business in south Florida since 1994 , and who is also my mentor to this day. ”
Q. What would you consider your biggest accomplishment thus far in your career?
A. “ With the help of the Marking Genius advertising agency I had the opportunity to do a TV interview with Buzz TV, 9 billboards in the city of Jacksonville, we also have had the company TV commercial on 8 channels with Xfinity and a radio advertisement with Iheart radio in 2018.”
Q. What legacy would you like to leave behind for yourself?
A. “ The legacy I would like to leave behind is to be known as a pioneer and guru in the Home Inspection Industry Nationally. I would like to also be known as a person who has helped so many others in multiple parts of the world get into the home inspection industry. ”
Q. How has the recent pandemic impacted the way you approach your craft ?
A. “ The recent pandemic has not impacted the way I approach my craft. I conduct business as usual while continuing to hustle, network, advertise and stay committed to the process that got me where I am at today. ”
Q . Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
A. “ In the next five years I see the company being a statewide multi-inspection firm. I see the company being the True Definition of great customer service, thoroughness, and experience to provide the top level of service in the inspection industry.
